Our CAUSE is to save lives after coastal disasters and provide humanitarian aid. To achieve that, we have one boat in operation in our new permanent base in Acapulco, Mexico and we are now building a new, purpose-designed rescue vessel that can carry food, water and medical supplies and doctors.
Thunderbird 2 is now in the water and at dock, running off her solar panel array...
- We're prepping and primer painting the railings, flybridge and deck, a great milestone, and the boat will start looking pretty...
- Have you ever wanted to weld? We'll be cutting steel and welding the starboard anchor lock on the foredeck.
- If we have enough people, we'll put the mast up!
Then we'll have a barbeque at our Medical Advisor Dr. Peter's house on Alameda! Click here to get directions and RSVP. BYOB, we have food for carnivores and vegivores.
SIGN UP HERE IF YOU'RE LOCAL AND WOULD LIKE TO HELP!! We are working on the boat 7 days per week, just call Captain Ray on 408-256-1290 to make sure someone's at the boat if you're coming during week days.
