International Rescue Group is running a humanitarian aid voyage sailing from Florida to USVI with stops in the Bahamas and Haiti where we have a safe base in Ile a Vache, a resort island to the south of Haiti's southern mainland. Then we sail on to the Virgin Islands, where our crew can get some much needed R&R after over two years of missions including a disaster relief operation in Dominica.
We were just donated a luxury, beautiful 50-foot Voyage 500 catamaran with four queen-size en-suite cabins each with own head and shower. To help fund our mission, we are offering two of those cabins for a 3-week voyage for $11,500 for couples, $10,000 for singles. That's only $1437 per person per week for a couple.
This is a fully-inclusive voyage with drinks and food all provided, our captain will teach you everything you need to know about voyaging offshore and Caribbean coastal cruising - or you just relax and enjoy every day!
Captain Matt has already sailed this yacht from France via Canary Islands, Cape Verde Islands across the Atlantic and through the Caribbean for over 6,000 nautical miles and will get you there safely!
When we get to Ile a Vache, we'll unload supplies bound for our selected orphanages and clinics and the subsitence fishermen that we have been supporting for years. Come join us - either watch them work with a pina colada in your hand, or hump cargo if you feel energetic - and meet our grateful recipients in shore events.
For those couples who are envisioning a cruising lifestyle, this is a great opportunity to see what it's like and learn!
