Sands Harbor Marina in Lauderdale is loading boats with supplys and giving duty free clearance to send relief supplies to the bahamas.   they are calling for any and all boats capable of making the crossing and being self sufficient while delivering relief supplies to islands devastated by the hurricane.   Sands Harbor Marina is donating slips to any boats loading supplies to go over. all boats are running in groups as there is safety on numbers.

R/V Scorcey is full on water and has a little over 1000 gallons of fuel aboard.  we move at 8 kts and are currently in key west on standby.  4 berths available, capacity to store 10 (broken down)  pallets dry and we have deck space for 10 more pallets and 10 barrels.   we are able to be dispatched from key west within 6 hrs.
