looks great!

have ya got a heat exchanger for it yet?

Good for another 30 years! That transmission is going to help get humanitarian aid to people who need it - even doing something like mechanical work helps IRG's mission...

Yes, new heat exchanger installed. Still have issues with hydraulic hoses, shift cable and starter motor but working thru them.

Transmission installed - Dave Turpin and John Paula helped to install the new tranny and she is almost ready to get going again now. Yea, and thank you all who have donated time, love and money to make it possible.

huge engine room and nice clean bilge!

the half moon bracket atop the water lift muffler?

The tranny neutral switch (for a neutral light) not connected yet.

Did you check the fit of the coupling?  see attached

if the engine and tranny runs smooth, real smooth in gear it probably ok.

if there is a vibration, the alignment might be something to check.

You guys did great.  Looks awesome.

Yes, access is good can lie down on top of the engine or stand next to it after removing the bunk above it.

I believe that sensor is a temp sensor to an over heat warning light, not a neutral sensor.

Coupling fit perfectly straight and true. If we notice any vibration then we might adjust the engine mounts if needed or add the Shaft Saver we have on board.

Thanks,

Sequoia
