Thunderbird 1 - Acapulco MX Mission Status

This boat pioneered IRG's approach to humanitarian aid by sea, we regard this beautiful Albin Stratus as our "Scout ship" developing relations in ports along her voyages and providing aid where needed. Though IRG's smallest vessel, she can carry critical medical supplies, provide accommodations for tired doctors and nurses and we hope to install a powerful watermaker (fundraising in progress).

IRG Captain Lou Rodriquez completed installation of Thunderbird 1's permanent Acapulco mooring and arranged shore services, now completing refit for her next mission to Panama.

This little gray boat just came in this morning and docked alongside Thunderbird 1!

For anyone who hasn't yet sailed on Thunderbird 1, she is a really INCREDIBLE boat!  This Albin Stratus will be an outstanding vessel for the North America Pacific Station.  It will be a pleasure for the lucky crew who wins this boat!!!

We have some potential captains for this boat, which will soon be renamed "Thunderbird 1". Let's have some discussion, let us know how you would like to be involved. Any questions?

Cheers,

Captain Ray
