After a long afternoon until almost dark, Ron Johnson (check in and welcome Ron, our newest volunteer!) and Captain Ray salvaged these seats from Mad Machinist Matt McMurfin's 1960s school bus and welded the frames onto the flybridge. Now we have seats for 14 people.

Next projects on the flybridge:

  1. Build plywood dashboard and mount throttle and generator panel.
  2. Finish weld all railing joints.
  3. Box in various plumbing and vents.
  4. Step mizzen mast.
  5. Sandblast and paint.
  6. Flybridge completed.

After all that, we sat down for the evening with pizza brought by Benita Steenhoff and Thunderbird 2's house boxed wine "Two-buck chuck".
