I've done the same route and can completely understand! On Tuesday you'll get some light westerly winds that will help a bit, according to Passageweather.com. I'm not seeing much in the way of northerlies unlit Wednesday south of Cape Hatteras. You might want to consider just motorsailing, it's confused light wind predictions at least for the next couple of days... Some nice northeasterlies off Georgia on Weds/Thurs then ENE Thur/Fri/Sat down into Florida.
Hey, still making way. Been be calmed off the Carolinas for 3 days now. The most distance we have been making is when we have to start the engine to recharge the batteries. Besides that we get about 2-3 hrs of good wind during the day. At night we Bob around and fish. The winds are due to shift from south to north today so hopefully we can reach out and grab some on the downhill run. The only wind we are feeling right now is from the swells rocking the boat.
Thank you for taking supplies to Haitian "Transitional safehouse" Little Footprints, Big Steps. This facility is based in Les Cayes, on the Haitian mainland to the southwest and is run by Morgan Wienberg who will be contacting you. I'm confident she'll be able to help you water your boat and show you the area! You'll have a great adventure I'm sure.
We look forward to seeing you in Hollywood, Florida where we will transfer the supplies to Carra Barra.
