In what capacity would you like to join International Rescue Group?
IRG Community Member, IRG Crew (can help with local events-fundraising-IRG boats), Volunteer

Excited to join the crew of Thunderbird 5 for their transition sail from St. Lucia to Florida!

About me:

I am 24 years old and would like to make a positive impact on the world. I graduated from Boston University two years ago and began working in financial software as a consultant for commercial banks. Recently, I realized climbing the corporate ladder wasn't for me and was looking for other worthwhile opportunities when I found IRG's inspiring cause! I am excited to participate in the disaster relief efforts provided by this organization.

I have some sailing experience. I participated in a sailing educational program during the summer of 2013 through Seamester. We sailed aboard S/Y Argo, a 112 ft two-masted schooner, from Tahiti to Australia. It was a 4,736nm trip which lasted three months. I have logged 180 days as crew/watch keeper, of which 150 hours were night watches while underway. I have my International Crew and Navigation Master certifications through IYT. Although I learned a significant amount about sailing and navigation aboard, it was two years ago and I am a bit rusty. However, I am eager to learn and even more excited to help with all duties on board! I am also an advanced open water diver through PADI.
