Establishment of a permanent maritime disaster relief base near Acapulco, Mexico

7-JUL-13, ACAPULCO: International Rescue Group announces the establishment of a base for the North America Pacific Station, having taken a permanent mooring with scout sailing vessel Thunderbird 1, this year to be followed by purpose-designed Thunderbird 2 which has a 10 ton cargo hold and will be equipped with a 1,000 gallon per day watermaker.
