Please reply to me, ray.thackeray@internationalrescuegroup.org, if you can help with any of the following:

  1. Help prepare our first rescue vessel "T2" for IRG's Launch Fundraiser Event (any day between now and March 30th)
  2. Make a large sheet cake for the March 31st Launch Fundraiser Event with our logo on it (enough for 90 people)
  3. Attend the Latitude38 Annual Crew List Party at the Golden Gate Yacht Club (RSVP here - Latitude38 have given us a free nonprofit display table, we need activists to network with the crowd and hand out our brochures, sign up new members and volunteers)
  4. Help all day with the March 31st IRG Launch Fundraiser Event including crewing the boat around to the Pasta Pelican guest dock (no skills required), hosting visitors on the vessel's champagne reception bar, selling IRG's logo merchandise
  5. WE NEED ARTICLES FOR OUR SILENT AUCTION - do you have anything to contribute? Perhaps a bottle of vintage wine, a membership if you work for a Spa, a dinner for two if you own a restaurant, etc...?
  6. Support IRG at Strictly Sail Pacific Boat Show Apr 12-15th - our rescue vessel "T2" will be docked with the other boats, we need people to host visitors on the vessel's champagne reception and talk about our mission, sell IRG's logo merchandise, sign up new members and volunteers)
  7. Visit the Bay's Yacht Clubs and talk about International Rescue Group - put IRG posters on their bulletin boards
  8. Attend Alameda's Speisekammer Pirate Night on Friday 2nd March at 8:30pm and network, hand out our brochure or card and sign up new members and volunteers... fun! A full evening of song and music, drinking songs seafaring music. Arrive in Pirate garb and get a free rum drink! Pirate music is provided by Skip Henderson and the Starboard Watch.
  9. Attend Alameda's Forbidden Island Tiki Lounge on Sunday 18th March at 6pm and network, hand out our brochure or card and sign up new members and volunteers... fun! A full evening of song and music, drinking songs seafaring music. Arrive in Pirate garb and get a free rum drink! Pirate music is provided by Skip Henderson and the Starboard Watch.

Aaar!

Hey Ray,

I will attend the Pirate night and try to be at Forbidden Island too.  I've contacted both venues by email about donations, so it would be nice to go there too.  I will also be at the Latitude 38 event and the Pacific boat show.  : )
