42.38 thousand people are living in coastal areas below 5m and can therefore be affected by storm surge.

It's getting pretty bad in the Philippines, even in Manila. "The geography of the archipelago makes it a welcome mat for about 20 storms and typhoons from the Pacific each year." 

Helping people survive the aftermath of this kind of disaster is what International Rescue Group is all about!
