Thunderbird 1 (T1), awaiting her rebuilt Yanmar #2Qm20H diesel and Hurth transmission shipping from Chicago where our friends at Archer Marine Rich Stromidlo, kindly provided "at cost" rebuild services and our friend Carlos Ibarra of RLM Forwarding,Laredo,Tex. (and Member of Acapulco Yacht Club) also provided "at cost" shipping of our marine drive train to and from Chicago to Acapulco.
Also, thanks to our friends at RAL Mechanical, Owner Ing. Ernesto cadavid &Genl. Mgr. Ismael Cuellar for their kind donation of all mechanical labor!
Acapulco Yacht Club has generously donated slip and logistics assistance for our re-fit: Humberto Van Hasselt and their entire team have been extremely generous and supportive of our mission!
Finally, a special thanks to my Puerto Marques and Playa Majahua Family especially Don Camaron's owners the Ramos Family who watch over my and T1s well being... always making certain I'm safe and well fed, with the finest seafood I all Acapulco!
